This ordinance updates Nashville's small business grant programs by removing construction companies and restaurants from the list of ineligible business types while adding smoke shops, and expands the blighted property grant program to cover interior improvements and industrial properties in low-income census tracts. It also creates two new grant programs: one that reimburses small businesses up to $10,000 for employee training leading to a credential, and another that supports businesses that have operated continuously in Nashville for at least 15 years.
