Ginny Welsch serves as District 16 Council Member for South Nashville, representing neighborhoods including Carlyle Place-Battlewood, Glencliff, Woodbine, Radnor, East Thompson, Raymond Heights and Woodycrest. She is co-founder and Executive Director of Radio Free Nashville and holds a BS in Communications from Tennessee State University. She serves on the Arts, Parks, Libraries, and Entertainment Committee, Government Operations and Regulations Committee, and the Greenway and Open Space Commission.
