Jeff Preptit is a Metro Nashville Council Member representing District 25, serving as Chair of the Rules, Confirmations and Public Elections Committee and member of the Public Health and Safety Committee and Charter Revision Committee. He holds a J.D. from Lincoln Memorial University and has worked as a civil rights attorney, previously serving as a staff attorney at the ACLU of Tennessee and assistant public defender for the Nashville Public Defender's Office.
