PassedThis ordinance creates a separate eight-member East Bank Design Review Committee (EB DRC) to handle design review and approval of development concept plans and standard modifications for the East Bank and Wasioto Bend subdistricts, functions currently handled by the existing Downtown Code Design Review Committee. Four members would be appointed by the Mayor, Vice Mayor, Metro Council, and Planning Commission, while four would be nominated by a District Council Member, the Urban Land Institute, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Civic Design Center. Two of the eight seats have geographic residency requirements tied to the east side of the Cumberland River and the East Nashville Community Plan area.
