Kyonzte Toombs serves as the District 2 Nashville Metro Council Member, representing Bordeaux-Whites Creek areas, and assumed office on September 28, 2019. She is an attorney with nearly 15 years of experience, including over 10 years in state government and currently works as Deputy Director of the Tennessee Department of Health's Division of Health Licensure and Regulation. She serves on several key committees including Budget and Finance Committee as Vice Chair, Rules Confirmations and Public Elections Committee, and chairs the Metropolitan Council Minority Caucus.
